This was my initial visit to this establishment, and I must say that it was quite spacious, allowing for ample room within the premises. Perhaps it was due to the early morning hour of 10:30 AM, but there weren't many customers present. I opted for the breakfast plate, unaware that it consisted of a sandwich. Consequently, the server kindly provided me with an additional waffle, which was a pleasant surprise. The customer service exhibited by the girl was highly professional. However, I cannot recommend the potatoes as they had an average taste and a peculiar flavor. On the other hand, the waffle was delicious I’ll have to try it with the chicken. I would definitely bring others to this place, although I would advise against ordering the potatoes. It is worth noting that the establishment started to fill up with more customers as I was leaving, which is a positive indication.
Cute little breakfast restaurant. You order upon arrival. Service was really nice and helpful with our menu questions. My group ordered the French toast stacker. It came with two fluffy pieces of French toast, scrabble eggs, and three pieces of bacon. It was delicious and filling.
Quaint little diner on the corner in Long Beach with indoor and outdoor seating. First impression when entering that it wasn't clean. Folded tables and chairs were stacked behind the counter and nothing appeared to be in order. The server walked around us for several minutes until we rang the service bell on the counter...strange. The menu was at the counter. You order and pay before choosing your own table. $50 for 2 people. It was a pricey meal for what we ordered and the environment. The food was ok...nothing special. Waffles, egg biscuit etc etc. We had to ask for extra butter several times. Overall, the experience was satisfactory- and pricey. Probably won't return.
My friends and I, party of 3 on a morning walk saw this place and decided to stop to eat breakfast and there was about 20 to 30 mins wait to be seated, because so many people are there eating as well. We Ordered and Pay at the same time. Pat was the only person working the register and serving the orders to the tables. I felt sorry for him.
Small but truly a great breakfast the food was great we really enjoyed the hand made biscuits. The omelette was perfectly made and the home fries were perfect. We went on a Saturday morning around 8:30 am we were the first ones there and a few more patrons arrived. Enjoyed the breakfast and atmosphere. We will be making this one of our go to breakfast joints.
